In Cave Painting (15/08/2021 GENAI FIRST), Plummer-Fernandez encodes caves with AI and creates magnificent styles with his generative technology developed between 2012 and 2015. The other works in this series are created by the machine-simulated neural networks through projection of viewers’ gazes onto the imaginary caves, along with the prompts given by the artist to the machines. In addition to the distinction between the foreground and background, the colors and contours of the caves are also a feature one cannot miss.
